Remember that one time I threw a Rainbow party for my daughter’s 4th birthday party? Oh yea, that was four months ago and I’m just getting around to posting some images. When Sloane told me she wanted a rainbow party, I just ran with it; making a rainbow balloon arch. I’m pretty sure people might think I’m crazy, but I honestly enjoy creating something fun! A big thanks to Oh Happy Day party shop for the balloons, party favors and napkins. The paper products came from Zurchers.
I threw something together that was simple and easy for Sloane’s 3rd birthday. All she really kept asking me for was a cake. So I asked Tess to make a funfetti cake and it was delicious! I had all the cacti plants around my house and then I attempted to make Alison’s sugar cookies from her class. I need a lot more practice with the royal frosting, but at least they tasted good. The balloons were sent to me by Northstar Balloons and they were the perfect size and so fun to use. Pretty sure sis felt special and celebrated. We sure love this little girl of ours!
the evening couldn’t have been more perfect. family and friends came to celebrate sweet little sloane. it was relaxed and casual, the best way. i had it catered and even bought the little cake from dippidee. when the kids arrived they could make headdresses from feathers, felt, ribbon and such. as cliche as it sounds, this first year went by too fast! little sloane is the sweetest, most easy going baby. she adores her older brother and he is so patient and loving to her. i love watching each of them with each other. they are my heart.
